Our History
New Image Dentistry’s story began in 1977, although back then it was called “Stop Decay,” and was owned by Dr. Kent McArdle. Dr. Bernie Dudzinski joined Dr. McArdle’s practice right out of school in 1987, officially becoming business partners in 1989.
In 2006, Dr. Bernie purchased an office at 129th and Maple, followed by another location at Village Pointe in 2009. This is when we chose the name you know today — New Image Dentistry.
In 2012, Dr. Bernie took full ownership of the practice and relocated the original Council Bluffs location to an updated building “at The Marketplace”.
We’ve grown a lot over the years. Dr. Bernie’s three sons — Dr. Jordan, Dr. Colin and Dr. Logan — followed in his footsteps and became dentists. Today, all four are proud owners of the practice, which has expanded to three locations across Omaha and Council Bluffs to better serve our community.
Here at New Image, we’re beyond grateful to have been allowed into the lives of generations of patients, helping them find dental care in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
